September 1988 Founded as Mardecs Ltd.
September 1995 Moves headquarters to Pier City Shibaura Bldg., 3-18-1 Kaigan, Minato-ku, Tokyo
December 1995 Increases paid-in-capital from 5 million yen to 100 million yen (no. of shares issued:2,000)
January 1996 Changes the company name to M.O.Marine Consulting,Ltd.
April 1996 Installs visual simulator and introduces shiphandling training
April 1999 Becomes wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) as a result of merger of Navix Line Ltd. and MOL.
April 2000 Merges with NAVITECO LTD. and NAVIX MARINE SAFETY SERVICES CO.,LTD. as M.O.Marine Consulting Ltd.
May 2002 Upgrades simulator to meet requirements of IMO STCW95
December 2002 Installs a second bridge to provide simulation with interactive trainings between two bridges.
October 2005 Certified as an institute to provide training for Pilot Exemption Certificate (PEC) shiphandling simulator training course by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
April 2007 Opens Kansai Office in MOL Building, 5 Kaigan Dori, Chuo-ku, Kobe
April 2010 Changes the company name to MOL Marine Consulting, Ltd.
